Wellbeing experiences in Nature

A commitment to your privacy: presence, respect and transparency

I believe that a deep connection with Nature is born of respect and trust. Just as in the forest, I follow the principle of “leave no trace” — and I apply that same philosophy to your digital space.

1. Cultivating transparency and commitment

Your data are like seeds we tend to: I treat them with clarity, and only for the purposes you have chosen. Whether to send you news about the experiences or to reply to a message, you will always know how and why I am communicating with you digitally.

2. Respecting your digital “silence”

I believe in a life without noise. Trust me — the notifications on my phone are switched off so they don’t disturb me. I do not share, sell or pass on your data to third parties. Your email is a channel of communication between us, and I promise not to overload it.

3. A mindful digital footprint

This site uses cookies only to ensure that your experience is as smooth and serene as a walk along the riverbank. I want you to feel safe while you explore our experiences.

4. The Human above the algorithm

To me, you are not a statistic. You are someone seeking balance and self-knowledge. If at any moment you wish to know what information I hold, or you would rather I deleted it, a single message is enough. I am here to listen, with the same attention I give to the symphony of Nature.

In Nature, from the Heart… and with every respect for your privacy.

What data I collect and why?

I only collect what you give me through the forms — your name, email and whatever you choose to share about the experience you are looking for. Purpose: to reply to your request and arrange the booking. Legal basis: your consent and, once a booking is made, the performance of our contract.

How long I keep it

I keep your contact details for as long as needed to reply and follow up on the booking. If no booking is made, I delete them within one year. Data relating to completed bookings is kept for the legal periods applicable to invoicing.

Who else handles it

For the site to work, I rely on service providers who may process technical data: Automattic/WordPress.com (hosting and forms) and Google Analytics (browsing statistics, only with your consent). Some may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the applicable legal safeguards. I do not sell or pass on your data for commercial purposes.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what has already been done on that basis. Simply write to malcataecoexperience@outlook.com.

Complaints

If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority — CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
